To add a color scheme to BBEdit, copy it into the “Color Schemes
” support folder. (You can get to the correct folder by choosing “Color Schemes” from the “Folders” submenu of the BBEdit application menu.)
Then, open the Preferences window and click “Appearance”, and select the desired color scheme. (Note that the color scheme selection applies to the prevailing system appearance — Light Mode or Dark Mode — and you can select a different scheme to use for each respective light or dark appearance.)
You can view, edit, and create new color schemes in the “Text Colors” preferences.
